AAE guidelines recommends adjunctive drug therapy in the Tx of avulsed teeth.

1. Doxycycline application to the root.
2. Fluoride soak for 5 minutes.
3. Penicillin or Doxycycline systemic therapy.
4. Chlorohexidine mouth rinse.
5. Tetanus shot if the patient is not immunized.

I think to reduce the rate of root resorption :D
