Does these endodontically treated teeth need Re-Tx if they lost their coronal restoration or/and get recurrent caries ??
regarding caries --> to me ( my opinion ^_^ ) it is clear that it does not require re-tx
& the reason is that b/c of the ecology of micro-organisms in caries is some how different from the type of micro-organisms that inhabitat the root canal system .
what about teeth that lost their coronal restoration for a period of time ??
Domenico Ricucci has his opinion regarding this issue
please take alook at this paper
