What r u going to do??

If u have a 55 years old patient, having a poor root canal treated tooth(very short & poorly condensed) this root canal was done 15 years ago, but in x-ray eveything is normal ( no radiolucency). and u need this tooth as an abutment for a bridge, so what r u going to do??

well , there is a Controversy on that but for me i prefer to re-treat
cus u need to constract a bridge on a solid grounds

I would re-treat it unless the patient is informed and choses not to under his responsibility.
